The "Detroit Experiment" has outlived its usefulness. As you may recall our experiments with sub-sonic sound used in conjunction with our new psychedelic mind control sound structuring techniques were an amazing success in its application but had been stolen by the outlaw Mike Banks during the underground wars of 1985. Since then our weapon has been used around the world against us to unite diverse peoples and places into a unified front that stands against our social pillaging and dilution of the arts. We cannot let this stand any longer. Because we had managed to contain the influence of this new musical weapon to Detroit and a few small metropolitan areas we have been able to negate most of the effect of our weapon inside our own boarders, however the rest of the world was not so lucky. It appears that we can no longer count on the isolation of Detroit from the rest of the country as a security measure. Thanks to our powers derived from the homeland security act we have intercepted communications from several high ranking officials in the underground techno leadership and have determined that the next large troop buildup is planned to take place in Cleveland Oh at an undisclosed location on Sat March 6. At this time that is all we know, we do not know which delegates will be at the meeting however the chatter would suggest several high ranking officials and possibly several generals. There is also speculation that the Detroit Militia will be lending soldiers to the battle as part of a larger offensive push across state lines. We cannot let this happen. We must infiltrate the event at all costs and bring this little techno movement to a halt now before it becomes too dangerous.

John Johr started Dj’ing in 1999, drawing influence from the early Detroit Techno & House sound. John’s sets maintain an artistic balance that blend a fusion of house, tech house, minimal & Detroit techno, a quality directly shaped by his occupation as record purchaser for Detroit’s famed Record Time. His status propelled through producing Input/Output, one of Detroit’s longest running weekly events and host to both new & veteran international talents such as Blake Baxter, Dan Bell, John Tejada, Seth Troxler & Ryan Crosson.
John also took up residency with Paxahau, becoming one of a select few DJ’s to represent the promotional powerhouse behind the decks. As a four year resident of Paxahau, John’s DJ career has further mobilized to include large Midwest events such as The Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2006 & 2008 as well as shows in Chicago, Cleveland, San Francisco, Miami, & Austin. John has also opened for headlining acts such as Steve Bug, Marco Carola, Cassy, Loco Dice, Marc Houle, Damian Lazarus, & Richie Hawtin. John continues to stand out among Detroit DJs using creative skills & years of experience as resources to provide an unequalled mixing display.

Randomseed began djing around the midwest in the late 90's during the heyday of bigroom warehouse raves. Always pursuing music that bridged the gap between mind bending listening music and floor pounding bigroom techno grooves his tastes and talents have progressed over the years into one of the most respected selectors in the midwest.
Running the Tek-Know? promotional group since 2006 and having performed in conjunction with some of the best in the industry including Richie Hawtin, Dan Bell, Butane, Someone Else, Barem his experience and dedication can be heard at every performance.

Detroit Techno Militia is a record label and a grass roots DJ/Producer collective dedicated to preserving the legacy of true Detroit electronic music and its proliferation around the world. We believe in what we do, and take pride in contributing to a tradition that has deeply inspired us. Detroit Techno Militia soldiers work to maintain and preserve the significance of techno made in our native city.

T.Linder takes a no-nonsense, working-class approach to the art of spinning records. He cites old-school Detroit street jocks: The Wizard (aka. Jeff Mills), Gary Chandler, and Steve "DJ Energy" Crawford among others, as major inspirations for his unorthodox aesthetic. "If someone's going to pay money to hear me spin, I'm going to make it worth their money. The way I look at it, there's too many DJs out there meticulously and methodically blending records that all sound the same. As a listener, I'm easily bored with that. I like to take some risks when I perform, skipping across genres and eras, doing scratch tricks with two copies of the same record. I want to give the listener the experience of hearing something they haven't heard before."
Over the past decade, T.Linder has kept a busy performance schedule that has taken him to literally thousands of events across North America. He has played at most, if not all, of the venues in Detroit catering to Electronic Music. Notably, 2030 Grand River, The Works, Motor Lounge, St.Andrew's Hall, and the Underground Stage at the 2002 Detroit Electronic Music Festival (a gig that he considers one of his career highlights).
In 2007, T.Linder released his first EP entitled DTM002 , on Detroit Techno Militia (a record label/artist collective that he co-founded). He has also done remix projects for legendary Detroit Techno producers K.Hand, and Scan 7.
In the future he plans to continue doing what he has does best, creating and playing timeless records, and asserting his position within the rich history of Detroit Techno. "A lot of DJs are switching over digital technology as a medium for their performances. I've been very reluctant to take that step. I am a vinyl DJ first and foremost, so I'll probably play records until my favorite labels stop pressing them. Mainly because I find them more reliable. I've never had a record crate crash in the middle of one of my shows and kill all of the music. Additionally, I think there's something to be said for the tradition of DJs playing old fashioned wax with analog turntables. Music from the future, made and performed with equipment from the past!"

As owner and co-founder of Bang Tech 12, DJ Seoul has been tearing up the Detroit Techno scene for 11years. Playing a wide assortment of music, from electro to hip hop to rare groove to house to minimal, DJ Seoul is known for bringing a turntablist hip hop style of mixing to his set no matter what genre he is playing.
DJ Seoul has played from coast to coast in the states as well as parts of Canada as well. He has held many residencies including One X, Buddha Lounge, Marilyns on Monroe, Lager House, All Star Cafe, Green Room, Flavor, as well as many more. As a promoter, Bang Tech 12 is responsible for some of the best events in Detroit in the mid to late nineties. Some of the events include Vertigo, Sounds of Futures Past, and Rampage just to name a few. Now Bang Tech 12 is purely concerned with just producing music and small events for Detroit. The days of the big party events are over in Detroit. Now the focus is on small invite only underground events and doing the larger events at legal venues located in the greater Metropolitan Detroit area. As a producer, DJ Seoul has a few different monikers. One of these is " Funk Shui" which is stripped down electro that has an old school feel to it designed for breakers and turntablists.
In 2006, Detroit Techno Militia signed a distribution deal with Cratesavers Muzik, jump starting the Detroit Techno Militia record label. We established our label as a Cratesavers sub-label to offer a creative outlet for the talented producers in our crew. All the tracks we release are inspired by the musicians that have influenced us here in Detroit!
Similar to the restoration of historic architecture; we are not tearing down and building anew. Rather using the existing structure as a basis for our own endeavors. Detroit has always had much to offer musically and it is our mission to make it known to the rest of the world for generations to come.

As owner and co-founder of Bang Tech 12, DJ Seoul has been tearing up the Detroit Techno community for the past 13 years. As soldier for the Detroit Techno Militia, he has been touring the world over fighting the battle for the soul of the music. By representing his home town properly and playing Detroit Music, DJ Seoul continues to carry the torch that was handed to him by the greats that came before him. Playing wide assortments of music, from Electro, Techno, Hip-Hop and Soul, to House, Acid and Rare Groove, DJ Seoul has become known for his style of bringing a Hip-Hop Turntablist style of mixing and scratching to his set regardless of genre.
In addition to a 13 year DJ career that has taken him across the world, Bill writes and produces electronic music with great attention to detail. He collects vintage synthesizers and drum machines which he uses to create music with a very distinct sound. With releases out on the Detroit Techno Militia record label as well as Drugaci Exhibitions, DJ Seoul has been making waves worldwide with his distinctly unique DJing style and truly inspiring studio production work.
DJ Seoul looks upon the future with determination and hope, "The time is over for looking down our noses in disdain at our fellow man because their beliefs are different, or because they lack the teaching to make educated decisions. By creating a knowledge base, sharing knowledge, and teaching the history of Detroit music to the masses, the uneducated understand and the weak become strong. Notably, 2030 Grand River, The Works, Motor Lounge, The Shelter/St.Andrew's Hall, 1515 Broadway, and the Underground Stage at the 2002 Detroit Electronic Music Festival (a gig that he considers one of his career highlights). Six years later, he returned to perform at the Underground Stage at the 2008 Movement/DEMF. In early 2008 he embarked on the RECON:313 European Tour with fellow label mates The Mercenary, Maxx-T, Dimitri Pike and DJ Seoul. This excursion took them to Charleroi and Tournai, Belgium; Paris, France; and Amsterdam, Netherlands where he performed on Dave Clarke’s radio show: White Noise on Dutch national radio station: 3VOOR12.....

In 2007, T.Linder released his first EP entitled DTM002, on Detroit Techno Militia (a record label/artist collective that he co-founded). In 2008, he released DTM003. On this EP he teamed up with veteran Detroit Techno vocalist Blak Tony to create a track entitled "Respect". This track caught the attention of the internationally renowned DJ, Dave Clarke; who included it on his "I Love Techno 2007" compilation CD that was released to commemorate the enormous European Techno event of the same name. The following year, he and DJ Seoul teamed up once again on the Detroit Techno Militia Rust Belt Tour 2008-2009. These two powerhouse DJs joined their talents and experience to bring a combined 4 turntable performance to more than fifteen cities in ten different states across the ....United States..... One of the tour stops included a performance on the Underground Stage at the 2009 Movement/DEMF.....

Begining as a vocalist for hardcore bands at the age of 13 ?CONFUSION? has experienced every aspect of the music world. ?CONFUSION? has been a staple in the midwest and southern edm scene for over 6 years. As owner of ENO productions he has thrown countless events in Memphis, TN and helped organize the largest outdoor electronic festival in the U.S. titled Undergound Sound and hosted sound camps at the event for several years. ?CONFUSION?'s constant pounding drive in life and music style has allowed him to share the stage with such artists as Dj Seoul, T.Linder, Miro Pajic, Dj funk, and Aphrodite to name a few.
